Admission Policy - 2024-25

• As per inclusive admission policy, the DPGS school is providing admissions to “Differently –Abled Category” Children with special need (CWSN) students in the mainstream.(CBSE admission Bylaws)
• The school has open admission policy for EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category students as per CBSE rule.

Admissions in Pre-School  (Nursery – UKG)

DPGS KIDS   at various locations and  DPGS school will follow the  following schedules and procedures of admissions.

General Rules:

1. As per NEP 2021, the Nursery admissions are open for 3 years of age child.
2. A child has to complete 6 years as on 30th March at the time of admission in Grade 1
3. A child with minimum  3 years of age may be admitted in Nursery
4. List of documents attached is to be submitted at the time of ad mission.
5. Admissions are granted by management/competent authorities on the basis of parents interaction session and (admission tests as applicable for classes LKG and above).
6. Admission Form & prospectus 250/-

Important Dates for Admission in classes Nursery – IX :

1. Advertisement for admission in classes-Nursery to IX - 15^th -30^th March 2024.
2. Registration for classes Nursery- IX and prospectus distribution to admission seekers

                                                                                                               -15^th March -15^th April 2024.

3. Parents Interaction /Orientation Day for Pre-school - 24^th April and 24^th May 2024

           and for classes 1  to 9^th                                                                           - 7^th   April 2024

           Last date of admission                                                                -30^th April.

4. Admission counselling will be done by admission counsellors separately for different categories of classes.
5. Admission counselling for classes 1 to 9 will be done in March 2024.
6. Admission counselling for classes 1 to 9 will be done by Admission Counsellors.
7. Admission to Grade1-9 are based on availability of vacancies that will be announced by school management in 4th week of March.
8. Admission Test for classes UKG to IX will be done on Wednesdays from15th March to 15^th April 2024.
9. Last date of admission on 30^th April 2024. (LKG-Class IX).
10. Display of final admission List on 15^th May 2024.
11. Purchase of uniform /book sets /school calendar/diary and syllabus between 20^th March -30^th April 2024.
12. Session 2024 commences from 1^st April and for new admissions on 8^th

Admission Procedures:

1. Admissions advertisement will be done through Bill Boards and brochures to be given to parents

(About 1000 brochures to be distributed)

2. Registration forms will be sold for Rs.250 per form.
3. Admission test will be conducted for admission in classes UKG to IX. The test paper will include syllabus of previous class in English, Science /Evs and Maths for 20 marks each subject.
4. To qualify Admission Test, the child has to secure minimum 50% marks for admission in various classes.
5. Parents and students have to sign an affidavit related to discipline and fee payment rules and transport of the school.
6. List of admitted students will be finalized by 30^th April 2024.
7. Parents will be invited for interaction session as scheduled.
8. The new Session will commence as scheduled.

 

List of documents needed at the time of admission to Nursery:

 

The students have to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

1. Date of Birth certificate
2. Admission form fully filled up and signed
3. Aadhar of parents( and child if available)
4. Two sets of black and white photograph of child
5. Caste certificate (if applicable)
6. Affidavit of understanding
7. Medical reports of CWSN category (if applicable)

1. DOB certificate
2. TC of other school
3. Marksheet of previous class
4. Admission forms duly filled
5. Two photographs (B/W)
6. Affidavit of understanding
7. Adhaar of Parents and child (Photocopy)
8. Caste certificate (if applicable)
9. CBSE Registration card (for admission in Class lX-Xll only).

 

ADMISSION POLICY For CLASS 11  

 

1. Provisional Admissions to class xi are granted on the basis of Pre-Board results after counselling session with parents. In March. (For DPGS students only).
2. DPGS class X students will attend a counselling session on streams of studies at plus two level in the last week of January followed by filling up provisional admission forms
3. Final Admission to Grade XI is based on class X CBSE results,
4. A minimum grade C in Maths and English is required for Humanities and Commerce
5. Admission to science stream Both Medical /Non -Medical is open for those scoring minimum B grade in Maths, Science and English in class
6. Final stream and subject selection and admission to class XI will be done on the basis of CBSE class X examination result, as per admission
7. There will be following sections of class XI: Boys and girls combined
   1. Medical Science (section-A)
   2. Non-medical Science (section-B)
   3. Commerce (section-C)
   4. Humanities (section-D)

 

List of Documents needed at the time of admission to UKG - Classes IX:

The students have to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

1. DOB certificate
2. TC of other school
3. Mark sheet of previous class X Pass
4. Admission forms duly filled
5. Two photographs (B/W)
6. Affidavit of understanding
7. Adhaar of Parents and child (Photocopy)
8. Caste certificate (if applicable)
9. CBSE Registration No. (in case of school transfer)

Policy for Direct Admission in classes X and XII:

1. Direct admission to class X and XII are granted only in case of parents transfer and change of residence. The application by the parents along with transfer orders, TC of the child, mark sheet has to be forwarded to Regional Officer for approval.
2. Once confirmed by RO, the child will be admitted and added in LOC (list of candidates) registered.

 

Scholarships Admission cases: -

 

1. Type of scholarships schemes will be declared In advance.
2. Scholarship to be given on first come first serves bases.
3. The applicant has to submit request for scholarships to school office at the time of admission.
4. The person, appointed by school management, shall do the scrutiny and verification of all scholarship applications and submit a written Report on it.
5. All scholarship to be decided/approved by MD on daily basis.
